STORIES THAT ENCHANT THE MIND
Is a creative studio and publishing house focused on unleashing innovative and breathtaking stories through multiple forms of media. Our company is interested in stories that shake the soul in the high fantasy, science fiction, and cosmic horror genres.
The two things we take pride in is our imagination and quality of work. We are passionate in our efforts to breath life into unexplored ideas and worlds locked within our dreams.
A high fantasy comic series by Yaruno and Nawa that focuses on the journey of Juka, a boy raised by the ancient sage dragon—Glacium.
The young hero and his best friend Lyth, a gentle water dragon, seek to bridge the gap between their species, but the world is against their dream.
A high fantasy comic series with elements of action and drama written by H.S. Crow, illustrated by Kev Liew and Formatted by Sierra 'Ashevaili' Rottman that focuses on the quest of Iko, and his search for his lost wife in a world brimming with monsters, gods, and out worldly things.
To do so, he’s willing to make any sacrifice—including his people, his land, and the world. Can Iko rekindle Lunora’s dream of bringing peace to Nevermore, or will he only serve himself?

Kickstarter PBC is a funding platform for creative projects. Everything from films, games, and music to art, design, and technology. Kickstarter is full of ambitious, innovative, and imaginative ideas that are brought to life through the direct support of others.
Everything on Kickstarter must be a project with a clear goal, like making an album, a book, or a work of art. A project will eventually be completed, and something will be produced by it.
For more information, check out Kickstarter FAQ.
Kickstarter is not a store, backers pledge to projects to help them come to life and support a creative process. To thank their backers for their support, project creators offer unique rewards that speak to the spirit of what they're hoping to create. on.
A project is a finite work with a clear goal that you’d like to bring to life. Think albums, books, or films.
The funding goal is the amount of money that a creator needs to complete their project.
Funding on Kickstarter is all-or-nothing. No one will be charged for a pledge towards a project unless it reaches its funding goal. This way, creators always have the budget they scoped out before moving forward.
A creator is the person or team behind the project idea, working to bring it to life.
Backers are folks who pledge money to join creators in bringing projects to life. Kickstarter is not a store, backers support a creative process.
Rewards are a creator's chance to share a piece of their project with their backer community. Typically, these are one-of-a-kind experiences, limited editions, or copies of the creative work being produced.
If you want to know more about how it works, try browsing around and looking at some of the projects on the site — you can start here. If you’re curious about starting a project, our Creator Handbook can give you a great overview. Check out Our Rules for more information.
Backers that support a project on Kickstarter get an inside look at the creative process, and help that project come to life. They also get to choose from a variety of unique rewards offered by the project creator. Rewards vary from project to project, but often include a copy of what is being produced (CD, DVD, book, etc.) or an experience unique to the project.
Project creators keep 100% ownership of their work, and Kickstarter cannot be used to offer equity, financial returns, or to solicit loans.
A collector item or a collectable is an item made specifically for a period of time, only once, for people to collect. Some companies that offer collectables may never print or manufacture the item again, and if they do, it is often never to the original conditions or specifications which is what makes a collector item, one of kind, rare, and desired among fans.
Special editions, limited editions and variants on these terms fall under the category of collectables. A special edition typically includes extra material of some kind. A limited edition is often restricted in the number of copies produced, and tend to have a serial number that makes the item special and rare, although the number may be arbitrarily high.
Exclusive simply means an item that is exclusively, or solely sold or given at a specific place/store, and often may have a specific quantities to consider as well.
Due to Covid-19, the time it takes to manufacture and mail items have increased dramatically. Due to this, please be patient as items ordered may take double the time to reach you. We are currently finding a way to address this issue, but it may last until Covid-19 is no longer a pandemic. In addition, once we send the payment to the manufacturers, it is under their discretion as to when they will finish and ship the items. We have had issues with a few of the manufacturers and the common excuse related to Covid-19, or in one case, the manufacturer going bankrupt and rejecting a refund when the items we paid for are not sent in the quality we had requested or not at all.
We began the Glacias Volume 1 Kickstarter two months prior to the world becoming aware of Covid-19. To add, the economic and pandemic implications associated with it was something we never knew would happen in real life. Otherworlds Inc is still a very new Start-Up company built by young creatives with a dream to build worlds. Our hope with the kickstarter was for it to help us bring revenue to the authors, and the publishing team behind the comic Glacias. We had hoped that the Kickstarter would have helped us grow in order for us to begin working on even greater projects for the Glacias World, but this was a severe failure.
The original pricing and costs we had estimated the kickstarter to be was based on a pre-pandemic estimation from manufacturing companies and Shipping companies like Shipmonk. However, when the pandemic struck, all pricing skyrocketed to an extreme amount, making the original estimations completely wrong.
All goods for this kickstarter became nearly impossible to push through with the budget we had gained from the kickstarter. In fact, it had put all of us into debt. However, we still attempted to see it through and use not just all the funds we had gained, but also our own money in order to help make this kickstarter dream a success. We took a lot of work during the pandemic, especially H.S. Crow. He took up three jobs during the pandemic, and nearly died in a accident due to a reckless driver rear ending him. Till this day, he is still recovering.
We wanted to make everyone that supported us happy, but in turn it put us in a hole... Not only did we nearly become bankrupt, but in our eyes, we felt like we had failed our amazing fanbase. We never wanted anyone to be upset, but no matter how much we tried to make this kickstarter a success, the issues caused by the pandemic grew worse.
What were the issues?
After countless attempts to complete this kickstarter, we have concluded this to be a failure, and due to this we have changed how we function. As of now, we are no longer interested in doing any Kickstarter, and we are changing our business model to a more traditional one. This has been a frustrating and painfully long experience, but it has taught us a lot and we plan to use this experience to grow and make sure we do better.
If you were affected by this we express our sincere apology. If we had known a pandemic would occur, we would have tackled the Glacias publication a completely different way.
What do we plan to do going forward?
We plan to publish Glacias to completion, but with a large publisher we are partnering with. We want to deliver products and better shipping, and we plan to do this by partnering with POD manufacturers. Our goal is to step away from fulfillment and lean more towards the creative aspects of our company which is the building of worlds and new creative works.
We hope that you can understand what caused the loss of the kickstarter, and how hard we tried to continue it, even with the world against us. Instead of the kickstarter helping our company, it nearly destroyed us.
Our hope is to come back from this loss by moving forward with new creations and a better business model. If you wish to see us grow, and see the development of new worlds, please consider supporting us by checking out our merch or products, or subscribing to our Instagram, especially since we plan to deliver our first motion comic series.
